today a couple people from a club i am in and i went to downtown to feed the homeless. setting up was no big deal. i did get a major headache, but that seemed to dissappear when people started to file in. serving food and seeing the manners and gratitude of many people today touched me. what really hit home, was seeing people from school there. it was a bit hard seeing people i would (and will) see around school. it made me realize that perhaps we will never know the other side to someone’s story… seeing a boy in one of my classes there today was a shock to me. usually in class, he has a sour attitude ad is very sarcastic and monotone, but today when he saw me serving food he had a big smile on his face and YELLED hello to me as though we had know each other for yeaers. it’s aazing how one act can affect one soul.
